Moving Day!!

This was a very short lived blog.

I wasn't very happy with this format. Blogger is really better as a word blog rather than a photoblog.

So.....to that end, I found a place that is much better for photoblogs. This blog will no longer be updated. Head over to here and see the new one.

Photoshop CS3 Tryout

Here is the first image from the Beta version of Photoshop CS3. I am quite impressed so far. I like the new layout and feel. Bridge is also quite nice.

A Streetcar Named Desire?

I love visiting and taking pictures of derelict things. Whether it is vehicles or buildings it is all good. When I visit these places I can't help but sit there and think about all the souls that have walk, worked, played, dreamed, etc in these places.

Welcome to the New Year and yet another new blog.

Good day and welcome to Aurora Flare. Aurora Flare is going to be a constant work in progress. My primary intention is for this to be a photoblog. However, I am not ruling out the possibility that I won't put words here as strikes my fancy.

As the first image I present to you one taken today at Rockwood Conservation Area. In fact, most of this entry has be written on my PDA sitting at the top of a cliff overlooking the lake during a rest break.

Feel free to comment or criticize, both are welcome. I plan to post what images here that I think stand out in some way. The rest of my images can be found at my flickr site.
